Leaving ordinary behind. Living extraordinary.
I moved to Costa Rica August 2014 because I wanted to experience more than just American Christianity. I did a school year internship with Young Life International.
I fell in love with this country and people. After my internship ended, God called me to stay.
So here I am, living in Costa Rica, pursuing God’s purpose for me here, loving people and serving the community.
Starting September 2016, I will be working with Tamarindo Church in the beach town of Tamarindo, Costa Rica. I work with children’s church and youth ministry. I have a heart to serve and a passion for our youth; for meeting kids where they’re at, walking alongside them, sharing the gospel and guiding them in truth.
Sometimes it feels like wandering, but The Lord has his hand in this journey every step of the way.

I have a passion for adventure, and a heart for Jesus. These two things are combined in my love for people. I really believe strangers are just friends I haven’t met yet. I love getting to know people, hearing their stories and their hearts, and watching people discover and live out their purpose.
I’m a 20-something who isn’t always sure what she’s doing.
But I’m not wandering. This is not wanderlust.
I know who I am in Christ and the mission he has called me to.
I’m overwhelmed and under qualified. But I will continue to walk in obedience.

Jesus is so present in each moment of this wild journey. I want to share those moments with you.
